Office 2010 installation aborted:
I just bought a new Dell XPS desktop with Office 2010 (home & students version) already on the computer. In other words, I have already bought and paid for it. I tried to activate Office 2010 but near the end of the activation process the internet connection collapsed and now the icon tells me that it is not installed but gives no idea of how to restart the installation: it just says I can't open the program. I don't want to buy it all over again; I don't want to use up the number of times I can install it; I don't know what to do. I have the product key and have entered that but because the installation was apparently incomplete I am not sure whether Microsoft has got that or not. I am not a techie. I could use a number to call, for that matter. Help.
Sorry fr the long delay. Did you get this fixed? If not, I'm sure we could help. I had this issue before and had disabled the print spool In addition, you can install the same version on the same pc as many times as you'd like. Don't worry about that.
