My OS is Windows 7 64 bit and I have just upgraded from Word 2007 to Word 2010. I am trying to set my default font and size but am having no success. I have opened up the proper box where you select and set these items and have selected both the font and size I would like to have as my default. I then clicked on "Set Default" and at various times I have tried selecting both options. That is to say I first selected "All documents based on the Normal.dotm template?" and then selected OK. I then shut off Word 2010 and immediately relaunched it and found that although the type of font was changed to what I wanted the size ALWAYS reverts to 10 which is not what I want. I then did exactly the same thing but this time I selected "This document only?" after clicking on Set Default but this didn't work either. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I'm doing wrong or what I can do to select and maintain my default font size?
