Hi.

I have a friend who is having a strange issue.
He previously had an HP Envy laptop, new system, up to date with drivers, etc. It had Win 7 Pro and Office 2010.
With various issues, he has bought an new laptop. Still HP, just a different model, up to date, has Win 7 Pro and Office 2010 again.
He has been having these strange issues where intermittently he will be typing in Outlook, word, or Excel, and all of a sudden the text is appearing in the wrong area, even up in the tool/menu bar area (where there is no typing space even).

I tried to attach a couple of pictures, kind of hard to see. The white boxes are blocked out text for sensitivity info.

In the attached photo1, you can see the area of the red rectangle that text is appearing up in menu/tool bar area. This is not possible, yet it is happening.
In other cases, such as photo2 (attached), the typing is happening in either the red or blue rectangle area, and appearing in the other rectangle area.

Very strange. Has anyone seen anything like this? I'm told there isn't much software installed since set up (just you send it and go to meeting and printers...).
